It all started when…
The Big Open Space is the women’s ministry of Roses Giving Back, founded by Alisha Mino. Born from her own story of resilience, healing, and faith, it exists to give women a place to rest, reset, and rediscover who God says they are.
Alisha’s journey has been one of transformation—from the struggles of being a teen mom and walking through years of abuse, to experiencing a divine awakening where God spoke purpose into her life: “Your testimony will be shared to the masses.” Out of that moment, her calling was clear—to use her voice, her story, and her gift of communication to bring healing and freedom to others.
At The Big Open Space, women are invited to “talk about it”—to share their stories, practice healthy self-talk, and be reminded that their internal truth creates their external expression. Through mindset therapy, worship, conversation, and community, women are encouraged to see themselves the way God sees them: strong, loved, and purposed.
This ministry is a safe place for the mind, body, soul, and spirit to find renewal. Retreats have already been hosted in Texas and even abroad in Tuscany, Italy—and as we continue to grow, we plan to return and expand with more outings that bring women together across the world.
The Big Open Space is more than an event; it’s a movement. It is a testimony that what the enemy meant for harm, God can use for good. And it is one of the heartbeat branches of Roses Giving Back, carrying the message: you are not defined by your past—you are called into purpose.
